Property Sustainability Assessor - Part Time

About the role

We are looking for a Property Sustainability Assessor to join our Energy Efficiency team in the East Region. This part‑time, temporary role supports the delivery of national energy efficiency programmes and ad‑hoc projects across residential properties.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of energy efficiency programmes and projects, carrying out sustainability assessments across properties.
• Monitor standards, control contractors and ensure work complies with contract specifications.
• Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress.
• Resolve conflicts between contractors, customers and residents to satisfactory outcomes.
• Provide administrative and support services to the Energy Efficiency team as required.

Required profile

• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Sustainability or NVQ Level 2/3 in Energy Efficiency.
• Member of, or working towards membership of, a relevant professional body.
• Ability to present original certification and CSCS card at interview.
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation related to property sustainability.

Required skills

• Knowledge of sustainability assessment methodologies for residential properties.
• Experience managing external contractors on energy improvement works.

What we offer

• Salary £21,951‑£23,106 per year (pro‑rated).
• Company car or car allowance of £7,703 (pro‑rated).
• 20 hours per week, part‑time, up to 18‑month contract.
