Proposal Manager – 12‑month Fixed‑Term (Edinburgh)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to support a leading global law firm on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Based in Edinburgh, you will lead high‑value proposals and panel tenders across multiple service lines and international jurisdictions, working closely with senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute bid strategies from qualification to submission.
• Manage the end‑to‑end proposal process, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
• Craft compelling value propositions and pricing solutions.
• Coach and influence cross‑functional teams for client presentations.
• Collaborate with senior professionals to shape win strategies.

Required profile

• Proven proposals/bid management experience in a professional services environment.
• Track record of handling complex, multi‑stakeholder and multi‑jurisdictional opportunities.
• Strong project management, writing and stakeholder management abilities.
• Confidence in influencing senior stakeholders and coaching teams.
• Legal sector experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
