Proposal Manager – Europe

About the role

Veeva is looking for an experienced Proposal Manager to drive winning responses for its innovative life‑sciences solutions. You will be a critical partner to the Veeva Europe sales organization and will manage the end‑to‑end proposal lifecycle. The role involves collaborating with experts to craft compelling narratives and respond to RFP/RFI questionnaires for European and global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Project manage all RFP/RFI activities from receipt through final submission, using Responsive and other enterprise tools to ensure on‑time, high‑quality deliverables.
• Coordinate contributions from cross‑functional teams such as Sales, Solution Consulting, Professional Services, Product, Strategy, and IT Security to develop winning responses.
• Lead internal alignment calls and checkpoint discussions to understand customer needs, confirm scope, identify differentiators, and assign tasks and timelines.
• Draft response deliverables, manage project workflows, and conduct thorough quality checks—including formatting, proofreading, and editing—to ensure accuracy and polished appearance.
• Handle multiple proposal assignments and other team projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines.

Required profile

• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• 5+ years of experience managing complex RFP/RFI proposal responses in a fast‑paced B2B SaaS technology environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• International business experience with an ownership mindset, flexible to support global operations across diverse time zones.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including advanced use of Styles in Word and expert formatting, editing, and proofreading skills.
