Propulsion Test & Launch Services Internship (12 months)

About the role

During this 12‑month placement you will support the Propulsion Test & Launch Services department, which tests and launches spacecraft propulsion systems. You will work on preparation of documentation, equipment manufacturing, and on‑site test activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare test and launch documentation in line with technical and safety requirements.
• Work as part of a small specialist team within a multi‑disciplined project.
• Manufacture, maintain and operate equipment specific to propulsion systems.
• Perform test and launch services activities to strict quality and technical standards.
• Undertake occasional off‑site work and liaise with subcontractors for GSE servicing and shipping.

Required profile

• Undergraduate studying a bachelor’s degree in an engineering‑related subject.
• Familiarity with mechanical and pneumatic systems, gases and basic electrical engineering principles.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight schedule requirements.
