We are seeking a qualified Solicitor or Barrister to join our team in Reading as a Prosecutions Lawyer. This retraining opportunity offers comprehensive training, mentoring and support to develop a career in criminal prosecutions. Key responsibilities

• Retrain as a specialist Prosecutions Lawyer, handling a broad and varied caseload of criminal law matters across the region.
• Manage complex cases, contributing to the delivery of justice while developing prosecutorial knowledge, case management and advocacy skills.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister from any area of law, eager to transition into prosecutions.
• Previous contentious experience advantageous but not essential, as full training and mentoring will be provided.
• Strong advocacy, excellent written and verbal communication, meticulous attention to detail and a genuine commitment to public service.
