Protection Broker – Life Insurance, CIC & ASU

About the role

We are seeking a driven Protection Broker to join a fast‑paced financial services brokerage in the City of London. The role involves advising both personal and commercial clients on a range of protection products, helping individuals and business owners safeguard their assets and income.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice on Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover and Income Protection.
• Identify protection gaps and build long‑term client relationships.
• Collaborate with advisers and business owners on holistic financial planning.
• Deliver tailored protection solutions for business clients, including Key Person Insurance, Shareholder/Partnership Protection and Business Loan Protection.

Required profile

• 12–24 months proven experience in protection insurance sales.
• Strong knowledge of personal protection products (Life, CIC, Income Protection/ASU).
• Understanding of business protection solutions is advantageous.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to spot opportunities.
• Confident communicator who builds trust quickly.
• Motivated, driven and a team player.

Required skills

• Life Insurance product knowledge.
• Critical Illness Cover expertise.
• Income Protection/ASU familiarity.
• Business protection concepts such as Key Person and Shareholder Protection.
