About the role
We are seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to deliver engaging PSHE, Life Skills and Personal Development sessions within a specialist SEMH setting. You will help young people transition to adulthood by fostering resilience, healthy relationships and emotional wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver PSHE and Life Skills lessons to students.
- Lead intervention groups focused on emotional and social development.
- Provide cover for lessons when required.
- Support pupils' emotional development and wellbeing.
- Collaborate closely with pastoral and teaching staff.
Required profile
- HLTA status or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience delivering PSHE or Life Skills.
- Background in SEMH or Alternative Provision settings.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- DBS clearance required.
