PSV Technician – Mechanical or Electrical

About the role

Our client, a leading transport operator, is seeking two PSV Technicians – one mechanical and one electrical – to join the engineering team at the West Drayton depot. You will be responsible for maintaining a modern fleet of passenger service vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, reliability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on PSV vehicles.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical or electrical faults efficiently.
• Carry out preventative maintenance inspections in line with manufacturer and company standards.
• Ensure all work complies with DVSA regulations and internal safety policies.
• Complete accurate maintenance records and job documentation while collaborating with the wider engineering team to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Proven experience working on PSV, HGV or other commercial vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
