Psychology Graduate – SEN Support for Children (Temp-to-Perm)

About the role
We are seeking a recent Psychology graduate to work one‑to‑one with vulnerable children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the Thanet area. The position starts in September and is offered on a full‑time, temp‑to‑perm basis, allowing you to gain hands‑on experience while progressing towards a permanent role.
Key responsibilities
- Provide individualized support to children with SEN, including Autism, SEMH, ADHD and speech‑language difficulties.
- Assist classroom staff and cover supervision duties in secondary schools as required.
- Maintain accurate records of interventions and progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists and families to develop supportive strategies.
Required profile
- Graduated with a Degree or Masters in Psychology within the last three years.
- Genuine desire to work with children who have SEN.
- Willingness to obtain a DBS check.
- Open to both SEN Teaching Assistant and Cover Supervision roles.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills required; strong interpersonal and observational abilities are essential.
