Psychology Graduate – SEN Support for Children (Temp‑to‑Perm)

About the role
We are seeking a recent Psychology graduate to work one‑to‑one with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the Gillingham area. The position starts in September and offers a temp‑to‑perm pathway, providing hands‑on experience in an educational setting.
Key responsibilities
- Support children with SEN, including autism, SEMH, behavioural needs, ADHD and speech‑language difficulties.
- Deliver one‑to‑one assistance and cover supervision in secondary schools.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop confidence‑building activities.
- Participate in training programmes to enhance SEN knowledge and practice.
Required profile
- Graduated with a degree or Masters in Psychology within the last three years.
- Genuine desire to work with children with SEN.
- Willingness to undertake a DBS check.
- Open to both SEN Teaching Assistant and Cover Supervision roles.
