Psychology Graduate – Support SEN Pupils (Temp to Perm)

About the role
This temporary‑to‑permanent position is ideal for a recent psychology graduate who wants to start a career in education. You will work within a large SEN provision serving pupils aged 4‑19 with complex needs in the Cheadle Hulme area.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils one‑to‑one and in small groups to encourage engagement and development.
- Communicate regularly with class teachers and senior leadership to monitor progress.
- Assist in preparing engaging learning resources and lesson materials.
Required profile
- Recent degree in Psychology.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (or willingness to undertake training).
- Experience supporting SEN pupils during placements (preferred).
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
Required skills
- Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
- Ability to create and adapt learning resources.
- Effective communication with teachers, staff and pupils.
