Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant – Liverpool

About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic psychology graduates to join primary schools in North Liverpool as Teaching Assistants. This role offers hands‑on experience supporting pupils individually or in groups, helping to create a positive learning environment while developing your skills in education and child development.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and group support for pupils, including those with special needs.
- Assist teachers with planning, delivering and evaluating learning activities.
- Maintain effective classroom environments and keep accurate records.
- Support literacy, numeracy and ICT activities.
- Help manage pupil behaviour in line with school policies.
- Undertake routine marking and clerical tasks such as photocopying and data entry.
- Contribute to the health, safety and well‑being of children.
Required profile
- Recent psychology graduate with a passion for education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
- Commitment to supporting children’s academic and emotional development.
