About the role

Are you an enthusiastic and committed Psychology Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking inspiring teachers of Psychology up to A Level to make a real difference to students' academic progress and personal development across schools in the Ashford area.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Psychology across the ability range, including A Level.
• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and well‑structured lessons.
• Inspire students to develop a deeper understanding of psychological theory, research and its real‑world applications.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement.
• Contribute to curriculum development and the wider life of the school.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and ambitious learning environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Psychology, ideally including A Level.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Psychology.
• Commitment to achieving high standards for every student.
• Ability to create engaging lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking and independent learning.
• Effective communicator and collaborative colleague.
• Holder or willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and any required overseas police clearances.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
