Pub Cleaner – Full-time

About the role

Join the team at The Bradley Green pub in Biddulph as a Cleaner, responsible for maintaining a spotless environment for guests. The role offers flexible shift patterns across mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in all public areas, toilets, bar, kitchen, staff rooms and outdoor spaces.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks following standard operating procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to guidelines.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and alert management when replenishment is needed.
• Report maintenance and pest‑management issues to the manager on duty.
• Interact politely with customers, greeting them and thanking them on departure.
• Participate in induction, role‑specific training and ongoing refresher sessions.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, reliable and friendly with a good attitude.
• Willingness to learn and remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to work flexible shift patterns, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and late nights.
• Not suitable for under‑18s due to shift patterns and lone working.
