Pub Supervisor – Godstone

About the role

We are looking for a Supervisor to lead the team at The White Hart pub in Godstone. The role sits at the heart of the venue, ensuring guests enjoy memorable moments while supporting a busy, fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Open and close the pub, manage stock and cash‑up procedures.
• Lead shifts, motivate staff and act as a role model for customer service.
• Ensure the business runs efficiently and profitably, supporting the wider management team.
• Think on the spot, use initiative and handle any issues that arise during shifts.
• Take responsibility for the smooth running of the pub when senior managers are away.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar Supervisor or Team Leader role within hospitality.
• Natural talent for leading and motivating a diverse team.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, varied and fast‑paced environment.
• Reliability, flexibility and a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Operation of Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Cash handling and basic stock management.
