About the role

Join a well‑established public sector legal team in Exeter, supporting major projects across the UK. You will advise on non‑contentious matters such as procurement regulations, contract negotiations, grant funding and subsidy control.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on public sector procurement regulations and compliance.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts for public bodies.
• Support grant funding applications and manage subsidy control issues.
• Interpret and advise on local authority powers and responsibilities.
• Contribute to high‑profile public sector projects nationwide.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience advising public sector clients or working within a public sector body.
• Demonstrated exposure to commercial contracts.
• Strong knowledge of public procurement law and subsidy control.
• Enthusiasm for developing expertise within a leading legal team.
