Pump Engineer – Installation & Maintenance

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Pump Engineer role is road‑based across London and surrounding counties. You will install, maintain, repair and service a wide range of clean and dirty pump systems for both domestic and commercial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and conduct repairs on pump equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Provide technical advice to clients and deliver timely, high‑quality service.
• Participate in an on‑call rota for out‑of‑hours emergencies and call‑outs.
• Carry out health and safety checks and maintain regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Technical expertise in pump installation, maintenance and fault diagnosis.
• Knowledge of drainage systems and related equipment.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in on‑site environments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a positive, can‑do attitude.
• CS1 confined‑space qualification (essential).
