Purchase Ledger Assistant – Finance Team

About the role

The Purchase Ledger Assistant will support the accounting and finance team by processing supplier invoices, managing payments and ensuring accurate ledger reconciliation. Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain and reconcile the purchase ledger, resolving any discrepancies.
• Prepare and execute supplier payments in line with company policies.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end purchase ledger activities.
• Handle supplier queries and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Support the accounting team with ad‑hoc administrative tasks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of ledger processes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
• Strong numerical ability and high attention to detail.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with suppliers and colleagues.
