About the role

The Purchase Ledger Clerk will support the finance team by processing intercompany applications and invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments. Working closely with commercial and buying teams, you will help maintain smooth financial operations within a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle intercompany applications and invoices efficiently.
  • Collaborate with commercial and buying teams to resolve queries.
  • Oversee and manage approval workflows for all invoices and applications.
  • Respond to and resolve queries promptly.
  • Escalate and resolve complex issues with the Purchase Ledger Manager and senior staff.
  • Prepare, reconcile, and execute payment runs.
  • Provide ad‑hoc support to the Accounts team and senior finance members.

Required profile

  • Well‑developed organisational abilities.
  • High level of accuracy with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.

Required skills

  • Familiarity with Sage 200 (preferred but not mandatory).
