About the role
We are partnering with an innovative business in north Liverpool seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their dynamic finance team. This full‑time, office‑based role involves handling a high volume of purchase invoices and supporting the accounts payable function.
Key responsibilities
- Process a high volume of purchase invoices.
- Reconcile supplier statements and match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Prepare weekly payment runs.
- Set up and maintain supplier accounts.
- Handle internal and external invoice queries.
- Process company expenses and credit‑card claims.
- Perform ad‑hoc finance duties as required.
Required profile
- Strong organisational abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Professional and friendly attitude towards suppliers and staff.
- Good communication skills, especially over the phone.
Required skills
What we offer
- Salary £28,000‑£30,000 per year, dependent on experience.
- 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
