Python Developer – Full Stack (Backend Focus)

About the role

We are seeking a Python Developer to join a small but growing team in Abingdon‑On‑Thames. The position is full‑time and hybrid, offering three days remote and two days on‑site (flexible up to four days remote for the right candidate). You will primarily work on backend services while also contributing to the front‑end using React.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Python‑based backend applications.
• Implement and enhance front‑end features using React and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with the product and design teams to deliver high‑quality features.
• Integrate cloud services (Azure, GCP) and support HubSpot integrations where required.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and solid experience with JavaScript/React.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud.
• Ability to work effectively in a small, agile team.
• Based in or willing to work from Abingdon, UK.
