About the role
We are seeking a Python Engineer to join an asset manager’s automation programme. The role involves building a new application and data platform that supports middle‑ and back‑office processes across the firm.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise‑grade Python applications for trading and operations.
- Build and maintain data pipelines that integrate with existing systems.
- Collaborate with front‑office teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement and optimise data architecture, with a focus on modern platforms such as Snowflake.
- Ensure code quality, testing and documentation meet production standards.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of professional Python development experience in a financial services environment.
- Degree‑level education in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with front‑office stakeholders.

What we offer
- Daily rate of £420‑460 (PAYE), with employer NI paid on top.
- Six‑month initial contract, based in London with remote working.
