Python Engineer – Crypto (Global Quant Firm)

About the role

Join one of the world’s largest high‑frequency trading funds as a Python Engineer in its fast‑growing crypto division. You will work on the back‑office platform that powers crypto trading, gaining deep insight into market data, trade inventories and reporting pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust back‑office services for inventory management, reconciliations, P&L calculations and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with traders and operations teams to resolve data integrity issues and support mission‑critical workflows.
• Implement data pipelines that ingest, store and process large volumes of crypto trade data using SQL databases and messaging systems.
• Ensure high availability, resilience and performance of distributed systems handling real‑time market data.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on software development experience.
• Strong Python programming skills; experience with C++ is a plus.
• Solid understanding of SQL databases (MySQL, ClickHouse) and messaging solutions such as Kafka.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent from a top‑tier university.
• Commitment to clean, robust code design.
