Python Quant Developer – Crypto Systematic Fund

About the role

We are looking for a Python Quant Developer to join the crypto desk of a leading systematic hedge fund. The role is based in London and offers the chance to shape the technology stack that powers high‑frequency, data‑driven trading strategies in the rapidly evolving DeFi space.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain front‑office systems for systematic crypto trading.
• Integrate real‑time on‑chain data feeds and connect to DeFi venues.
• Work on both greenfield projects and enhancements to an existing sophisticated tech stack.
• Collaborate closely with traders, quants and engineers to deliver robust, high‑throughput solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and enforce high standards of code quality.

Required profile

• 3–10 years of professional experience in Python development (C++ a plus).
• Strong passion for cryptocurrency and decentralized finance.
• Commitment to clean, well‑tested code and best development practices.
• Solid understanding of real‑time, scalable, quantitative applications.
• Ability to architect end‑to‑end high‑throughput systems.
