Python Software Developer (Docker) – London

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Python Software Developer to join our fast‑moving, technology‑driven business in London. You will design, develop and maintain internal applications and automation tools that improve core business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable, production‑ready Python applications and APIs.
• Work on both front‑end and back‑end components of internal tools.
• Build, package and deploy applications using Docker containers.
• Own container‑based development workflows and ensure reliable deployment practices.
• Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments.
• Apply modern software delivery practices such as CI/CD and scalable system design.

Required profile

• Strong Python development experience, including building applications, services or APIs.
• Solid experience across front‑end and back‑end development.
• Practical, hands‑on experience with Docker and containerised development (essential).
• Experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and scalable system architecture.
• Pragmatic mindset with the ability to deliver robust, production‑ready software.
