Python Software Engineer

About the role

You will join GoFibre’s Software Engineering function as part of a focused squad that builds, maintains and enhances the core applications that keep the business running. Working in a collaborative, fast‑moving environment, you will partner with other teams to solve real problems and help shape scalable, smart solutions for broadband delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance core GoFibre systems in partnership with the Head of Software Engineering.
• Design and build backend features, services and system integrations.
• Support and contribute to technical architecture and solution design.
• Maintain and improve integrations between internal systems.
• Participate in regular check‑ins and planning sessions to keep projects on track.
• Create clear, accurate technical documentation.
• Review code and uphold high engineering standards.

Required profile

• Strong Python experience with hands‑on work in Django or FastAPI.
