QA Analyst

About the role

Birchlake Recruitment is partnering with a leading automotive finance organisation to find a QA Analyst for a high‑profile commissions project. This is a six‑month fixed‑term position based in Milton Keynes, focused on delivering fair customer outcomes and maintaining quality standards across multiple commission‑related initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a Quality Assurance framework aligned with existing QA methodologies for three commissions projects.
• Conduct daily “check the checker” quality reviews, applying agreed pass/fail criteria and regulatory standards.
• Provide clear, evidence‑based feedback and produce reports with recommendations for stakeholders.
• Identify emerging risks, themes and trends through ongoing monitoring and suggest process improvements.
• Collaborate with operational teams and programme stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
• Ensure all reviews keep customer outcomes at the centre of the assessment.

Required profile

• Experience in Quality Assurance within automotive finance or a related regulated sector.
• Strong understanding of Consumer Duty, vulnerable customers and FCA principles.
• Proven ability to create or develop QA frameworks and assess work objectively.
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication, capable of influencing stakeholders.
• Organisational and time‑management skills to handle competing priorities.
