QA & Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA & Electrical Engineer to join a manufacturing team in Wigan. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality household appliances and white‑goods through rigorous product development and testing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the product development launch pipeline to ensure right‑first‑time delivery.
• Advise on quality improvements and cost‑saving measures, working closely with OEM manufacturers.
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and maintain customer expectations.
• Monitor product performance in the market, analyse returns and feedback, and produce performance reports.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Track and report supplier performance against defined criteria.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience in manufacturing, product testing or a laboratory environment for household appliances.
• HNC, BTECH or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related qualification.
• Proven background as an electrical engineer, electrician, or white‑goods engineer.
