QA Specialist – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

We are seeking a QA Specialist to join a world‑leading pharmaceutical manufacturer on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract at the Harwell site near Didcot. You will provide on‑floor quality assurance support, ensuring that manufacturing activities comply with strict GMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor manufacturing suites in real time to guarantee GMP adherence.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to triage deviations and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Review batch records, SOPs, and alarm logs; manage material release and documentation control.
• Apply technical expertise to improve operational efficiency while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or related GMP environment.
• Science‑related degree preferred.
• Hands‑on experience working within GMP/GxP settings.
• Flexibility to cover occasional day and night shifts.

What we offer

• Annual salary £45‑£55k (£22‑£26 per hour) plus pro‑rated shift allowance.
