QMS and Sales Support Coordinator

About the role

The QMS and Sales Support Coordinator will work at a specialist test facility on the outskirts of Great Dunmow, providing both quality‑management system oversight and sales‑related assistance. The role is full‑time, onsite, and requires reliable personal transport.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the support team and oversee day‑to‑day operations.
• Maintain document control for the ISO/IEC 17025 QMS and produce compliance reports.
• Coordinate certificate review processes and keep the internal audit schedule up to date.
• Administer the non‑conformity register and update standards and accreditation schedules.
• Consolidate test plans and quotations, delivering them to customers while supporting the sales team.
• Provide sales support for new leads, RFQs, and business‑development activities such as trade shows and testimonials.
• Assist finance and reporting functions with local process delivery.

Required profile

• Qualification in quality management or equivalent experience.
• Engineering or other STEM qualification is acceptable.
• People‑management experience and strong organisational abilities.
• Commercial acumen to support internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Excel and analytical awareness.
• Experience with ATEX, IECEx and HAZLOC certification.
• Experience with IECEE, EMC and RED standards.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17065 audit or development.
