About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced, qualified teacher to deliver personalised 1‑to‑1 outreach tutoring in pupils' homes. You will work with learners who have been out of formal education for a period and need support to rebuild confidence and re‑engage with learning.

Key responsibilities

Plan and deliver tailored lessons at the pupil’s home or community setting.
Re‑engage disengaged or SEND pupils, providing structure and motivation.
Monitor each pupil’s progress and report to Prospero Teaching.
Adapt teaching times to suit family schedules, typically 15 hours per week per student.
Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding standards.

Required profile

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven UK classroom teaching experience.
Experience working with SEND or disengaged learners.
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
