About the role
A well‑established secondary school in Newham is seeking a committed and inspiring English Teacher to join the team from September on a full‑time basis. The role involves teaching across Key Stages 3 to 5, including multiple A‑level groups.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons for KS3‑KS5 and A‑level students.
- Plan, assess and track student progress effectively.
- Contribute to a supportive and collaborative English department.
- Inspire a love of reading, writing and critical thinking among pupils.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching English in UK secondary schools.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and support students of all abilities.
- Genuine passion for English and education.
