Qualified Accountant – Truro

About the role

We are partnering with a rapidly expanding accountancy practice in Truro that needs a Qualified Accountant to play a pivotal, influential role as the business scales. You will work closely with the Managing Director and take ownership of a diverse client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for ambitious clients, answering queries and providing advice.
• Prepare year‑end accounts and tax returns for a range of entities.
• Review and approve work produced by junior colleagues to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with the MD on strategic initiatives and business development.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or AAT).
• Strong experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Clear, confident communicator able to build relationships with clients and team members.
• Technically robust with a drive to progress as the firm grows.
