Qualified Children's Social Worker – Hybrid, Immediate Start

About the role

This position is for an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join a North London Authority Children’s Disabilities Team. The role offers hybrid working and an immediate start, allowing you to balance office collaboration with remote case management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of children with disabilities independently.
• Assess and manage risks, adapting approaches for complex or unusual cases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Maintain accurate records and produce case reports.

Required profile

• Relevant Social Work qualification (BA/MA Social Work, DipSW or equivalent).
• Registered with the UK Social Work regulator.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
• Proven experience in local authority children’s social care.

• Case assessment and risk management.
• Independent decision‑making.
• Knowledge of children’s disability services.
