Qualified Commercial Electrician – Permanent Role

About the role

We are looking for a qualified electrician with around five years of commercial experience to join a well‑established electrical business in Dartford on a permanent, full‑time basis. The role offers a stable 40‑hour week, occasional travel to client sites and paid overtime at enhanced rates.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out test certification on site in line with BS 7671 (18th Edition).
• Perform installation work ensuring compliance with current regulations.
• Complete SimPRO job reports accurately at the end of each day.
• Adhere to company policies and health‑and‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence.
• 18th Edition of BS 7671.
• Competent in testing and inspection.
• Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation.
• Own basic tool set.
• Approximately five years post‑qualification experience.

Required skills

• Experience with busbars, containment, lighting tracks and power drops.
• Proficiency in testing & inspection procedures.
• Knowledge of SimPRO reporting software.
• Familiarity with ECS Card, Inspection & Testing 2391, IPAF and PASMA (nice‑to‑have).
