Qualified Electrician – Residential Property Maintenance

About the role

We are recruiting a qualified Electrician to join a well‑established property maintenance and repairs business delivering essential work across residential homes. You will be part of a supportive team, carrying out a varied workload with modern equipment and genuine career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Electrical testing and inspection
• Fault finding and reactive repairs
• Full and partial rewires
• Kitchen and bathroom electrical installations
• Installation of domestic heating controls and systems
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults
• Completing emergency call‑outs when required
• Maintaining accurate job records, including photographs
• Following health & safety procedures and safe working practices
• Providing excellent customer service in residents’ homes

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
• City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) or Testing & Inspection qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• Previous experience in social housing, domestic maintenance or property repairs
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
• Professional and respectful approach when working in customers’ homes
• CSCS card (beneficial)
