About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) holder to deliver one‑to‑one English and Maths tuition to secondary‑aged pupils in Oldham. The position starts in September 2026 and offers flexible, part‑time hours that fit around your schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver personalised English and Maths lessons for individual learners.
- Support pupils in building confidence, subject knowledge and exam technique.
- Monitor progress, adapt teaching strategies and keep accurate records.
- Maintain safeguarding standards and uphold company procedures.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
- At least 6 months of recent UK teaching experience with secondary pupils.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) and right to work in the UK.
Required skills
- Ability to independently design and deliver lessons.
- Strong communication, organisation and classroom management.
