Qualified Joiner

About the role

We are seeking a pleasant, reliable and flexible Qualified Joiner to join our Mobile Maintenance Team serving properties across Greater Manchester and the North West. You will deliver first‑line maintenance services, ensuring tenants’ homes are well‑maintained and respected.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality maintenance for kitchen units, wooden fixtures and surface finishes at multiple residential sites.
• Attend the weekly maintenance meeting at the Stockport head office and other required briefings.
• Contribute to the on‑call rota with additional flat‑rate and enhanced payments.
• Assist fellow engineers outside your discipline when needed.
• Use company‑provided vehicles and tools to travel between sites safely.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, hardworking and able to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence with a vehicle available for work purposes.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
• Willingness to participate in on‑call duties.

Required skills

• Repairing and maintaining kitchen units and related plumbing leaks.
• Repairing and fitting wooden fixtures such as doors and locks.
• Sanding, staining and varnishing surfaces to a professional finish.
• Proficient use of hand and power tools.
