Qualified Maths, English & Science Teacher – Evening/Weekend

About the role

Intuition Centres is seeking qualified teachers to deliver high‑quality tuition in Maths, English and Science at its Heald Green and Cheadle Hulme centres. Lessons run for two hours during evenings and weekends, offering a flexible part‑time opportunity for educators who want to supplement their existing commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, small‑group lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Prepare students for school assessments and GCSE examinations.
• Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate attendance records.
• Communicate professionally with parents or carers when required.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to uphold high teaching standards.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths, English or Science within the UK curriculum.
• Strong lesson‑planning, organisational and classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Reliability and a passion for supporting student confidence and achievement.
