Qualified MOT Tester – Full-Time in Worthing

About the role

We are seeking a qualified MOT Tester to join our busy automotive workshop in Worthing. You will perform MOT examinations in line with DVSA standards, delivering high‑quality service and ensuring vehicle safety for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests according to current DVSA regulations.
• Complete all MOT documentation and inspection records accurately.
• Identify and report vehicle defects and required repairs.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors and Technicians to ensure smooth workflow.
• Keep the workshop clean, safe and organised.
• Follow health, safety and company compliance procedures.
• Assist with general workshop operations as needed.

Required profile

• Valid Class 4 MOT Testing Licence.
• Previous MOT testing experience in a dealership, independent garage or fast‑fit environment.
• Strong knowledge of DVSA testing procedures and regulations.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
• Team‑player attitude with a professional approach.
