Qualified Nursery Practitioner – Full Time (South Croydon)

About the role

This full‑time position is based in a well‑established nursery in South Croydon. The role starts in September and offers a long‑term pathway that may become permanent. You will work across rooms for babies, toddlers and pre‑school, delivering high‑quality early years education and care.

Key responsibilities

• Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate activities.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Maintain a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Level 2 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or higher recognised qualification).
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Caring, proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
