Qualified Plumber

About the role

We are seeking a pleasant, reliable and hardworking Qualified Plumber to join our Maintenance Operatives team in Greater Manchester. The role involves delivering high‑quality first‑line maintenance services across multiple residential sites while respecting tenants and their homes.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems and fixtures such as sinks, toilets and water heaters.
• Inspect plumbing systems to identify leaks, blockages and other issues.
• Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies and carry out effective repairs.
• Provide first‑line maintenance service at various sites within the portfolio.
• Participate in the on‑call rota and attend weekly maintenance meetings at the head office.

Required profile

• Proven experience in installing, repairing and maintaining plumbing systems.
• Full UK driving licence; a vehicle will be provided for work purposes.
• Based in the UK and eligible to work in the country.
• Reliable, flexible and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Pipe and valve installation.
• Drainage system maintenance.
• Plumbing system inspection.
• Emergency plumbing repair.
• Operation of power tools and use of PPE.
