About the role

Spencer Clarke Group is partnering with a secondary school in Liverpool to recruit a qualified Maths teacher for a long‑term placement starting in September. The role offers the chance to make a real impact in a supportive classroom environment and may lead to a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 desirable).
• Maintain strong classroom management and discipline.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages student achievement.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Proven experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for inspiring students to reach their full potential in Maths.
• Commitment to a long‑term teaching role from September.
