Qualified Secondary Supply Teacher – Bolton & Greater Manchester

About the role

Aspire People is recruiting enthusiastic Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) holders to provide secondary supply teaching across a network of schools in Bolton and Greater Manchester. The role offers flexible daily, short‑term or long‑term placements, allowing you to balance work with personal commitments while gaining varied classroom experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in your subject area for Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and follow provided lesson plans.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning atmosphere.
• Follow each school’s policies and contribute to student progress.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Previous experience teaching in secondary schools.
• Ability to teach across Key Stages 3‑4 (KS5 experience is a plus).
• Reliable, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with staff and pupils.

Required skills

• Strong classroom and behaviour management techniques.
• Effective lesson planning and delivery.
