Qualified SEN Science Teacher (QTS) – Permanent

About the role

We are seeking a qualified SEN Science Teacher (QTS) to join a well‑supported special educational needs school in Windsor. The permanent position starts in September and involves delivering science education to pupils with a range of additional needs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated science lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other SEN profiles.
• Monitor student progress and contribute to the achievement of EHCP outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with teaching assistants and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• Experience teaching the KS3‑KS4 curriculum.
• Proven experience working with SEN pupils.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Patient, flexible and committed approach to teaching.
