Qualified Social Worker – Adult Safeguarding (North London)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Adult Safeguarding Team in North London. This full‑time contractor position offers a competitive rate of £32 per hour and the chance to make a real difference to vulnerable adults.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and investigate safeguarding concerns for adults at risk.
• Work collaboratively with multi‑agency partners, including health, police and housing services.
• Develop and review care and protection plans in line with statutory guidance.
• Maintain accurate case records and produce safeguarding reports.
• Provide advice and support to service users, families and professionals.

Required profile

• Qualified Social Worker with current registration (e.g., HCPC).
• Demonstrated experience in adult safeguarding or related social work practice.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice frameworks.
• Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
