Qualified Social Worker – Children Safeguarding (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join a Children’s Safeguarding Service in South East Wales. The successful candidate will work with a dedicated team to provide wrap‑around support for families, with an emphasis on recent court experience and immediate availability.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct safeguarding assessments and case reviews for children and families.
• Represent the service in court proceedings and liaise with legal professionals.
• Collaborate with family support workers to deliver coordinated, multi‑agency interventions.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Registration with Social Care Wales or Social Work England.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Full driving licence.
• Recent experience of working in court settings.
• Availability to start immediately.
