Qualified Social Worker - Children's Frontline & Disabilities

About the role

Randstad Care is seeking experienced, resilient qualified social workers to join high‑priority teams in Accrington. You will work on Children in Need, Child Protection, or Children with Disabilities caseloads, delivering statutory assessments and safeguarding interventions with a premium rate of £36 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a complex caseload of children and families, ensuring child‑centred planning.
• Conduct statutory safeguarding assessments, develop protection plans, and initiate care proceedings when required.
• Collaborate with schools, health professionals, emergency services, and other agencies to create integrated support networks.
• Provide specialised, strength‑based assessments and care plans for children with complex physical or learning disabilities.

Required profile

• Minimum three years post‑qualifying statutory experience in a permanent local authority role.
• No permanent or fixed‑term position with the same local authority in the past 12 weeks.
• Active registration with Social Work England and a recognised Social Work degree.
