Qualified Social Worker – Mental Health

About the role
Our client, Salford County Council, is seeking a qualified social worker to join its Mental Health Front Door team. You will conduct home visits and assessments, supporting the contact team in delivering timely mental health services. The role offers hybrid working, with up to two days per week from home.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out face‑to‑face visits and comprehensive assessments for service users.
- Provide assessment reports and recommendations to the contact team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals within the Front Door team.
- Maintain accurate case records and adhere to safeguarding policies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Qualified social worker registration (UK).
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
- Ability to work flexibly, including hybrid arrangements.
