About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking qualified secondary teachers for flexible, daily supply work in East London (Newham). The role covers KS3‑KS5 across a range of subjects, with start date in September 2026. You can work full‑time or part‑time, choosing the days that suit you between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Provide cover for absent teachers across various subjects.
- Deliver lesson plans and maintain classroom momentum.
- Manage diverse behavioural needs and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and timetables.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or equivalent.
- PGCE, SCITT, Teach First or comparable qualification.
- Reliable, committed and able to work flexible days.
- Experience with behavioural management is essential.
